GARLIC BUTTER NAAN







Ingredients


Dough receipe
  • 1 cup maida or all purpose flour
  • ¾ tsp baking powder
  • 2/3 rd cup of curd or yoghurt
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1cup warm water or take as per required
  • A pinch of yeast Saby Food Instant Yeast, 100g

Garlic butter spread:
METHOD:
Garlic butter recipe:
  1. firstly, in a small bowl, add few tsp of chopped garlic.
  2. further, mix well and keep aside.
Garlic Butter Naan recipe:
  1. in a bowl combine 1 cup maida, salt to taste, ¼tsp baking soda or ¾ tsp baking powder and ½ tsp sugar,yeast
  2. next add 2/3rd cup of curdor yoghurt  and mix well.
  3.  if sticky then add required amount of maida and  knead dough.
  4. punch well and make a non sticky soft dough.
  5. add a tsp of oil and coat well.
  6. cover with moist cloth and rest for minimum of 1 hour.
  7. after an hour, pinch a small sized ball.
  8. dust with some maida and roll to a oval shape using rolling pin.
  9. make sure you do not make too thin nor thick.
  10. apply water on one side of naan.
  11. now slowly flip over and put it on hot tawa. Use Prestige Hard Anodised Plus Cookware Induction Base Roti Tawa, 225mm, Black  if you are not using naan maker
  12. slightly press. this helps the naan to stick on to the tawa and when you can flip the tawa upside down it will be intact.
  13. brush some garlic butter over the naan. Silicone Oil Brush Cooking,Tandoor, BBQ (Random Colors Provided) 9- INCH (9 INCH)
  14. now after a minute, flip the tawa upside down and cook naan directly on flame till they turn golden brown
  15. finally add some more butter and serve hot
